Empathy
Being more empathetic is a skill you can develop by acknowledging your biases, having frank sometimes difficult conversations, and acting with compassion toward others; and widespread research has shown that empathy makes people better managers and employees, better family members and friends.
So why the gap? Why, even in a time of massive change and uncertainty, are some individuals still struggling to understand and support one another? Ihow can we inspire a tidal wave of empathy to drive more change in our companies and our lives?
