Create the conversations that deepen trust and strengthen relationships
WHAT PALABRA DOES
One evening.
One question.
Everyone connects through story.
While many leadership and planning events focus on strategy and execution, Palabra focuses on the people behind the plan.
By creating trust, connection, and shared understanding, we help teams have more honest conversations, build stronger relationships, and work together more effectively.
We facilitate a storytelling experience built around a single, thought-provoking question. Every person in the room has the opportunity to share something real from their own life, creating deeper connection, trust, and understanding among participants
Whether it's a client appreciation dinner, a business development event, a powerful team health experience held before or between annual planning sessions, or a community gathering, leading with story transforms the quality of the conversation. It creates space for authentic connection, strengthens relationships, and fosters the kind of meaningful dialogue that lasts long after the event ends.
THREE EXPERIENCES
Choose Your Format.
The Table
8–15 People · 3 Hours
Each person shares a story. The group listens together. Small enough to feel personal, and long enough for real conversation to unfold.
WHEN TO CHOOSE IT
Business development and client appreciation events, leadership retreats, team off-sites, or any gathering where the goal is to build trust, deepen relationships, generate referrals, and create opportunities through meaningful connection.
The Circle
16– 30 People · 3 Hours
A selected group of people tell their stories. The rest listen, respond, and close the evening by saying what they took away from it. The depth of a small dinner, expanded to serve a larger group.
WHEN TO CHOOSE IT
When you want depth and intimacy but need more people in the room than The Table allows.
The Room
24–150 People · ½ Day
Everyone leaves with something they didn’t have when they arrived: a story they’ve discovered, shaped, and shared. Part workshop, part event, and fully participatory.
WHEN TO CHOOSE IT
A company-wide gathering, entrepreneur community event, or multi-team offsite where you want everyone actively participating, not simply listening.
IN THEIR WORDS
“Palabra did something I hadn't experienced since my Navy SEAL days. It built trust quickly.”
Alden Mills
Former Navy SEAL · Founder, Perfect Push-Up
“Palabra transformed our standard board dinner. Our members universally raved and continually referenced insights from that dinner over subsequent meetings.”
Verne Harnish
EO Founder
“Truly transformational. The stories, the vulnerability, and the trust that emerged in just a few hours were remarkable.”
Susan Frech
EOS Implementer
“TIGER 21 members have high standards for how they spend their time. Palabra met that bar and then some. In a single evening, a room of people from different countries, cultures, and backgrounds reached a level of connection most groups never get to. I've been doing this long enough to know when something is genuinely different. This is..”
Laurence Tham
Chair, TIGER 21
“I don’t know if I’ll ever have the words to truly describe the evening but it was something I’ll never forget.”
Laura McDowell
EOS Implementer
WHO RUNS EVERYTHING
Built by an Entrepreneur Who Understands EOS
David Rich · Founder, Palabra
David spent nearly three decades building and leading his own company before selling it and moving into advising, coaching, and facilitating conversations for entrepreneurs and leadership teams. Along the way, he saw firsthand that frameworks like EOS create alignment and accountability, but trust and connection often determine whether the most important conversations happen at all.
He started Palabra to create experiences that help people move beyond updates and problem-solving into the honest conversations that strengthen teams and relationships.
